ABOUT

Isabel began her formal art training at the Liga de Arte in Puerto Rico, studying under a variety of instructors and earning recognition for her work, including 2nd place in the Certamen Núcleo in 2015. While participating in numerous art projects and workshops, including oil painting and ceramics, her latest collection ‘Colindancias’ came to life and will be exhibited in Spring 2025 at Espacio Emergente of the Museo de Arte Francisco Oller in Bayamón, located at an upcoming cultural district. ‘Colindancias’ is an invitation to feel the great force of nature that inspired this collection.

The artist holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Notre Dame, where she also spent a year in the Rome Studies Program, deepening her appreciation for classical art and architecture. A licensed architect since 2008, Isabel specializes in residential and office design while drawing on nearly a decade of private-sector experience designing schools, residential buildings, mixed-use developments, and managing multidisciplinary teams and projects.

Balancing her professional endeavors with family life, Isabel manages rental properties and takes pride in raising her three beloved children. Currently, she is dedicated to her art, constantly exploring innovative techniques and creative challenges, inspired by the resilience of nature and the timeless beauty of the world around her.
